Coaxial

I glued them boosters together then for added movement I used a 2-3mm Double Ball Joint from Yellow Submarine.

Then i blasted a hole using my lazer eyes.

Fin!

I'm starting to worry about my seraph. It's almost three weeks and it still hasn't arrived. I should've shipped it via EMS. It's really hard to trust people.

Oh i'll take that back.....

Anyway this'll be my last V.I. purchase for the moment. And by the look of things, there wouldn't be any more Old school ACs and I'm not too eager to jump into AC4. And there's not enough room in my room at the moment to store these kits.

It ended up being smaller than the WH09H-WRAITH handgun, but the size looks just right when equipped.

I need to make a bigger one, at least 4-5cm long.

Russia = Crest
Ossetia = Navis
Georgia = Kisaragi
US = Mirage

I'm really pissed off at the majority of the western media with the way they portray the current Georgian-Russian conflict. The headlines are very one-sided. "Russia invades Georgia" "Russia bombs Georgia" "Russian aggression" etc. What the fuck?
Russia only sent it's troops in response to Georgia's offensive against south Ossetia.
People shouldn't forget that this conflict was the result of Georgia's actions. And guess what, they are getting sympathy from the International community with the backing of the United States.

Color test

The Blue + Maroon color scheme didn't turn out bad. I just need to put them in the right place. And the grays bring balance to the zen.

I have yet to name this AC. It's hard to come up with a name that's doesn't reek of gundam stink.

Of hellfire and Hydra

Nao How micro is a micro?

The Hellfire missiles I substituted was too big when you compare them to the Screenshots, so I drilled holes that are 1mm & 1.5mm in diameter, enough to fill the launching area.

And then i did some estimates on their actual size and compared them with hellfires and Hydras.

Here are some more hellfire and hydra images, to give you some ideas.

I think the 70-100mm estimate is already a decent size for a micro, although i can drill even smaller holes.
I'll be applying these changes the next time i work on a MAGORAGA.

Out of blue

I was almost done applying the base colors when i ran out of dark blue(Gundam color spray 3).

I'm also starting to regret my choice of colors. For some reason i avoided doing the uuber weathered starwars-ish color scheme i planned from the beginning. Maybe I'll just do it on my hover leg project.

I hope it'll turn out just fine. I'm judging it too early.
